The official YouTube channel for singer-songwriter tei has posted a music video for their latest song “because,” which was used as the ending theme for the winter 2024 TV anime The Weakest Tamer Began a Journey to Pick Up Trash. The CD single released in Japan on January 31, 2024.tei, a singer-songwriter who plays the mini-harp and has a neutral and clear voice, made their major debut from Lantis in February 2023 with “Hitominaka,” the ending theme song for the second season of the TV anime Tsurune.The song was written, composed, arranged by tei themselves. In a recent interview with Animate Times, tei said about the song: “I wrote the song with the hope that the protagonist would not get lost on her journey and that it would gently push her back to say: “Don’t worry,” and “This song is also a cheering song for all people. It changes like a musical as it moves toward the latter half of the song, so I hope you will listen to it all the way through.”
