We’re just a week out from the debut of GIRLS BAND CRY, the new original anime series from Toei Animation. With the first episode approaching, a second trailer has been released, delving deeper into the story of aspiring musician Nina and her bandmates.

Kazuo Sakai (Love Live! Sunshine!!) directs GIRLS BAND CRY at Toei Animation. The series also features series composition by Jukki Hanada, character designs by nari Terashima, CG direction by Jae Hoon Jung, and music production by Kenji Tamai (agehasprings) with accompanying music by Yusuke Tanaka (agehasprings).
The story of GIRLS BAND CRY follows five young women from very different circumstances that come together to form a band, in the process dealing with clashing egos and burgeoning friendships. The series will broadcast in Japan on TOKYO MX, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, and BS11 starting April 5, 2024.
