Medalist, an upcoming TV anime based on the sports manga of the same name, has published a new visual (below) that focuses on the rival figure skating pair of Hikaru Kamisaki (voiced by Kana Ichinose) and Jun Yodaka (voiced by Yuma Uchida). The series will broadcast in Japan as part of the TV Asahi “NUMAnimation” programming block beginning in January 2025.
The original Medalist manga by TSURUMAIKADA is serialized in Kodansha’s Monthly Afternoon seinen manga magazine, and an English language version is also available from Kodansha USA. Yasutaka Yamamoto directs the TV anime at animation studio ENGI, while Jukki Hanada provides the series composition and scripts and Chinatsu Kameyama provides the character designs.
