A second key visual for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of SunSunSun’s romantic comedy light novel series Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian was revealed at the AnimeJapan 2024 stage event today. The visual features the anime’s five main characters — Masachika Kuze, Alya Mikhailovna Kujou, Yuki Suou, Maria Mikhailovna Kujou / “Masha,” and Ayano Kimishima.

Prior to the TV premiere in July, an advance screening event of the anime’s first episode is set to open at NEW PIER HALL in Tokyo on June 16. The voice cast members for the five main characters — Kohei Amasaki, Sumire Uesaka, Wakana Maruoka, Yukiyo Fujii, and Saya Aizawa — will also join. Tickets are now available on ePlus.

The TV anime Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian was originally set to premiere in Japan in April 2024, but postponed to July 2024 in order to “make this work even more enjoyable for everyone.”

The TV anime was originally set to premiere in Japan in April 2024, but postponed to July 2024 in order to “make this work even more enjoyable for everyone.”SunSunSun began the original web novel series on Shosetsuka ni Naro in May 2020. The light novel series, featuring illustrations by Momoco, began in February 2021 under the Kadokawa Sneaker bunko imprint with eight volumes released to date. A manga adaptation, illustrated by Saho Tenamachi, began in October 2022 with the fourth volume scheduled to release in April 2024. Yen Press releases the English version of the light novel series. KADOKAWA describes the series:
