The Blue Exorcist anime series hosted a stage event at AnimeJapan 2024 today and announced the anime will return in October 2024 with a new sequel season titled “Yuki no Hate-hen” (“Beyond the Snow Saga”). A teaser trailer and visual were also unveiled.

Based on the manga by Kazue Kato, Daisuke Yoshida (Hunter x Hunter animation director) directed the latest season, Blue Exorcist -Shimane Illuminati Saga-, at Studio VOLN, with series composition by Toshiya Ono (86 EIGHTY-SIX) and character designs by Yurie Ohigashi (APPARE-RANMAN!).All three seasons, including the original 2011 series and Kyoto Saga sequel produced by A-1 Pictures, are currently streaming on Crunchyroll.
