The upcoming Black Butler -Public School Arc- anime released a brand new trailer today during the series’ AnimeJapan 2024 stage event, announcing the opening and ending theme artists. Otoha will perform the opening theme “Fanatic Parade – The Parade of Battlers” with SID performing the ending theme “Shokuzai” (Atonement). The anime is scheduled to premiere on April 13 in Japan, and in Crunchyroll’s spring 2024 lineup.
Kenjiro Okada will direct Black Butler -Public School Arc- at animation studio CloverWorks, with Hiroyuki Yoshino providing the series composition and Yumi Shimizu providing the character designs.The original Black Butler manga by Yana Toboso began in 2006 in Square Enix’s G Monthly GFantasy manga magazine, with volume 34 of the manga releasing on April 26 in Japan. An English language version is also available from Yen Press. The first three seasons and OVAs for the Black Butler anime produced at A-1 Pictures aired between 2008 to 2014, with the Book of the Atlantic film released in 2017. Yen Press describes the series:
