Earlier this year a 10th anniversary project was launched for the Is the Order a Rabbit? anime, which is celebrating the April 2014 launch of the first series adapting the manga by Koi. More details were revealed this weekend at an AnimeJapan 2024 stage event held at the NBC Universal Entertainment booth, including Koi’s colorful new visual.
Beyond that, there’s a collaboration on the way with Japanese travel agency JTB, featuring a tour of France. Cocoa voice actor Ayane Sakura will attend a fan meeting as part of the event this winter. The anniversary festivities will also include a pop-up shop at the Tokyo Anime Center in DNP PLAZA SHIBUYA from April 26 to June 2, 2024, with special goods on sale.
Speaking of special goods, look for merch centered on an Is the Order a Rabbit? BLOOM x Sanrio character collaboration at Tokyo’s SHIBUYA TSUTAYA store. That one kicks off on April 25.
Crunchyroll currently streams the third season, Is the Order a Rabbit? BLOOM, and describes the series like so:
Kokoa arrives in a new town in spring to start high school. She gets lost and pops into a coffee shop called “Rabbit House”, which turns out to be where she will live. All the characters are so cute – tiny but cool Chino, soldierly Lize, gentle and Japanese Chiyo, sophisticated but down-to-earth Sharo. They are joined by Chino’s class mates Maya and Megu, and a regular at the shop, Mr. Blue-Mountain Aoyama. Everything is so cute every day at Rabbit House!
