Somehow, it’s been 25 years since Ojamajo Doremi debuted in Japan. The beloved magical girl series notably celebrated its 20th anniversary with the award-winning film Looking for Magical Doremi. This time around, fans can immerse themselves in memories of the series at a touring art exhibition.
The event was announced today at AnimeJapan 2024 as part of a special panel for the series’s anniversary, along with a new video set to the show’s theme song, “Ojamajo Carnival!!”
A website and X (formerly Twitter) account have also opened for the exhibition, with plans to travel to Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka:
Highlights of the exhibition revealed so far include a recreation of Doremi’s classroom, a corner where you can step into the Witch World, and photo spots. More information will be forthcoming as the event approaches.
The Ojamajo Doremi 25th Anniversary Memorial Exhibition opens August 10th at Laforet Museum Harajuku in Tokyo.
