The official website for voice actor Kaori Maeda (Shizuku Osaka in Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club, Touka Kuroitsu in Miss KUROITSU from the Monster Development Department), has announced that her four-song second EP “Grab the World” is set to release in Japan on June 5, 2024. It will have been 15 months since the release of her previous first EP “Mikansei STAR” in March 2023.
While working as an anime voice actor and singing many character songs, she made her solo singer debut from DMM music / Astro Voice in 2023. One of her debut songs in her first EP, “Hikatta Coin ga Shimesu Hou” (The direction indicated by the shiny coin) was used as the opening theme for the TV anime Saving 80,000 Gold in Another World for my Retirement, in which she was also cast as one of its main characters, Sabine. The lead track from her upcoming second EP, “Joushikihazure Human” (Out-of-the-Ordinary Human) will be featured as the ending theme for the second cour of the ongoing second season of the TV anime TSUKIMICHI -Moonlit Fantasy-.”We created this song in the hope of expressing the light comical nature of the work and the world view of the lovable characters,” she said on the anime’s official website. “The song is somewhat nostalgic, yet addictive, so please look forward to it! I am very grateful for this opportunity to be guided by the moon! Thank you very much!”
