The official website for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Kagekinoko’s fantasy light novel series Party kara Tsuiho sareta Sono Chiyushi, Jitsu wa Saikyo ni Tsuki released a teaser trailer today during AnimeJapan 2024, announcing its upcoming October 2024 premiere.

In addition to the previously-announced Kensho Ono (Tetsuya Kuroko in Kuroko’s Basketball) as the protagonist, Raust, and Kaori Maeda (Shizuku Osaka in Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club) as the main heroine, Narsena, eight more voice cast members were revealed, including:

Armia voiced by Hina Tachibana (Nanaera in The Great Cleric)

Lyra voiced by Ayaka Asai (Kusuri Yakuzen in The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You)

Zeek voiced by Yuichiro Umehara (Siegfried Kircheis in The Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These)

Margulus voiced by Shunichi Toki (Kensaku Hirota in The Foolish Angel Dances with the Devil)

Saberia voiced by Marie Hashimoto (Sumire Fujita in TAMAYOMI: The Baseball Girls)

Amherst voiced by Rie Hikisaka (Hana Nono/Cure Yell in HUGtto! Precure)

Hansam voiced by Toshiya Miyata (Yuan Kasai & Mitsuki Kasai in Delicious Party Precure)

Mist voiced by Hiroshi Iwasaki (Barnabas Avrit in The Fruit of Evolution: Before I Knew It, My Life Had It Made)

Keisuke Onishi (Call of the Night episode director) will direct the TV anime at Studio Elle, with series composition by Kurasumi Sunayama (Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World), character designs by Yumiko Mizuno and music by Naoki Tani and Tatsuya Yano.The original novel from Kagekinoko was released on Shosetsuka ni Naro beginning in May 2018. A light novel release, with illustrations by Kako Lanthanum, is released by Futabasha starting in January 2019 with four volumes released in Japan to date. A manga adaptation illustrated by Miwa Narumi began in February 2020, with eight volumes released to date.The story follows Raust, a healer who can only use one basic spell and is expelled from a first-class party for being too weak. While the leader of that party realizes how great his abilities actually are after hiring another healer, Raust finds new friends like Narsena who support him and his rise to the top.
