A stage event held at AnimeJapan 2024 today revealed that the previously announced seventh season of Natsume Yujin-cho (Natsume’s Book of Friends) will begin airing in Fall 2024. A teaser visual and trailer (which is region-locked at the time of writing) were also unveiled.

The TV anime adaptation of Yuki Midorikawa’s supernatural mystery shojo manga series aired for six seasons from 2008 to 2017, and a feature film Natsume Yujin-cho the Movie: Ephemeral Bond was released in Japanese theaters on September 29, 2018.
Crunchyroll streams the series in a range of subs and dubs, describing the story like so:
Natsume Takashi has the ability to see spirits, which he has long kept secret. However, once he inherits a strange book that belonged to his deceased grandmother, Reiko, he discovers the reason why spirits surround him.
