The Paldea Elite Four will be making a (actually effective) splash in the upcoming Terastal Debut arc of the Pokémon Horizons TV anime series when the new arc premieres next month. Ahead of the arc starting in April, the Japanese voice actors for the Elite Four were announced today on stage at AnimeJapan 2024.
Both a video of the Japanese voices was released along with a character visual of all of them.
Joining the cast of Pokémon Horizons are:
Rika voiced by Mitsuki Saiga
Poppy voiced by Miria Takagishi
Larry voiced by Ryotaro Okiayu
Hassel voiced by Kosuke Toriumi
The newest Pokémon anime, titled Pokémon Horizons: The Series in the West, features the first new protagonists in the history of the franchise and started in Japan on April 14, 2023, with Saori Den directing at OLM.
The series premiered in English in the UK in December 2023 on BBC iPlayer and in North America on Netflix on March 7, 2024, with the first 12 episodes. No date for the next batch has been confirmed.
