Kadokawa released a brand new trailer for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Gods’ Games We Play today, following the special stage event held at AnimeJapan 2024. The new trailer features the ending theme “I’m GAME!” performed by voice actor Hina Tachibana, as well as announcing that Miyu Tomita will join the cast as a Mysterious Beautiful Girl.

Based on the light novels by Kei Sazane and Toiro Tomose, Gods’ Games We Play is being directed by Tatsuya Shiraishi at studio LIDEN FILMS, with series composition by NTL, character designs by Yoshihiro Watanabe (Haganai) and music by Gin (DON’T TOY WITH ME, MISS NAGATORO).Crunchyroll will stream the series in the upcoming spring 2024 anime season starting April 1. Yen Press, which publishes the light novels’ official English version, describes the first volume as such:
In their (overabundance of) free time, the gods grew bored and decided to create challenging battles of wits to spice things up! Their opponent? Humanity! A select few players called “apostles” meet the gods on the spiritual realm’s playing field to beat the deities at their own games.
