Late last year, it was announced that Fujiko F. Fujio’s classic manga Time Patrol Bon would be getting a full-length anime adaptation for the first time, courtesy of Studio BONES. This weekend at AnimeJapan 2024, Netflix dropped more news about the upcoming adaptation, including a new key visual and extended cast list.
Titled T・P BON, this will technically be the manga’s second adaptation—the first being a 95-minute NTV special aired in 1989.
A new key visual locks in a premiere date of May 2 for season 1, with season 2 to follow on July 17.
A full cast list, including the previously announced leads, was also released:

T・P BON is being directed by Masahiro Ando (Hanasaku Iroha) with music by Michiru Oshima (Little Witch Academia). This marks the first new anime adaptation of a Fujiko F. Fujio work in approximately 30 years.
