Harimaware! Koinu, a short form TV anime based on the web manga from Ukauka, announced the series will continue following the latest episode of season one. The second season announcement was revealed on the show’s official site and social channels, which is slated to premiere July 2024 in Japan. A new key visual was also released.

In addition to the announcement of the continuation, a companion mobile game was announced, where players follow along with Koinu in his role actively stickering the town. The original Harimaware! Koinu manga by Ukauka began in 2020 on the Souffle website. Ai Ikegaya directed the TV anime at studio Opera House, and began on January 6, 2024.The story of Harimaware! Koinu follows Koinu, a serious-minded dog who goes to work one day only to find that his company has gone bankrupt. At a loss, Koinu takes a job from a mysterious recruitment agent and is hired to paste dog stickers all over the city. Even though he doesn’t understand the purpose of this strange assignment, Koinu works hard every day at his new employment.
