The Date A Live anime is getting ready to return with Date A Live V on April 10, which also happens to be Tohka Yatogami’s birthday. A stage event was held during the ongoing AnimeJapan 2024 festivities, taking the opportunity to show off a new trailer full of highlights from the new season. It all starts with some quick cuts from the story so far before introducing more season five footage.

Jun Nakagawa returns to the series at GEEKTOYS, with Naoto Nakamura also returning as the character designer and Go Sakabe as the music composer. Fumihiko Shimo returns to write the series composition with the cast from the first four seasons returning for Date A Live V.Crunchyroll recently announced plans to stream Date A Live V as part of the Spring 2024 season, describing the story like so:
