In the final moments of the announcement-packed Crunchyroll industry panel at Anime Expo 2024, a new anime adaptation of the celebrated Omniscient Reader web novel was officially revealed as production from Aniplex and Crunchyroll!
As part of the announcement, the series’ key visual and a first-look teaser debuted to the audience in attendance, giving fans a glimpse at what to expect when the series makes its anime debut.

The anime adaptation is based on the web-novel-turned-webtoon Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint by Sing Shong and Sleepy-C (Redice Studio) which ran from 2018 to 2020 via publisher Munpia.
