Ubel Blatt, an upcoming TV anime based on the dark fantasy manga by Etorouji Shiono, has revealed a wealth of new information, including the main staff, a new trailer, and a new piece of key art (below). The series is scheduled to begin broadcasting in Japan in January 2026.
Square Enix serialized the original Ubel Blatt manga from December 2004 – March 2019 in their Gangan YG, Young Gangan, and Monthly Big Gangan seinen manga magazines. Yen Press also publishes an English language version of the manga. Takashi Naoya directs the TV anime at animation studios SATELIGHT and Staple Entertainment, while Tatsuya Takahashi provides the series composition and Kiyoshi Tateishi provides the character designs.
