The Blue Exorcist anime previously revealed plans to continue with -Beyond the Snow Saga- in October 2024. At the Blue Exorcist Special Event at Anime Expo 2024, Aniplex of America released a new trailer and key visual for the upcoming arc and announced that another new arc, -The Blue Night Saga-, will follow in January 2025.Each saga is scheduled to air as back-to-back cours. The new -Beyond the Snow Saga- trailer also announced that Reol will perform the opening theme “RE RESCUE.” Both arcs will also stream on Crunchyroll as they air in Japan.

Based on the manga by Kazue Kato, the most recent season of the Blue Exorcist anime was Blue Exorcist -Shimane Illuminati Saga-. Daisuke Yoshida (Hunter x Hunter animation director) directed the season at Studio VOLN, with Toshiya Ono (86 EIGHTY-SIX) on series composition and Yurie Ohigashi (APPARE-RANMAN!) on character designs.All three seasons, including the original 2011 series and Kyoto Saga sequel produced by A-1 Pictures, are currently streaming on Crunchyroll.
