The official Adult Swim YouTube channel has shared another preview for Rick and Morty: The Anime, which is scheduled to premiere sometime this year on Adult Swim and MAX. Watch as Morty is celebrated as a hero in the minute-long first look below.
Featuring original stories, including some that take inspiration from the main Rick and Morty cartoon, Rick and Morty: The Anime will air for 10 episodes. Tower of God director Takashi Sano is at the helm. The spinoff is produced by Jason DeMarco of Adult Swim and Joseph Chou of Sola Entertainment, with animation production by Telecom Animation Film, alongside Sola Entertainment handling general production. As previously reported, the opening theme is “Love Is Entropy”, written and arranged by Japanese group OTONEZ.
