The BanG! Dream franchise’s official YouTube channel has posted a special clip to reveal the key visual for the second of the two-part compilation film based on the BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!!! TV anime series.
The TV anime BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!!! aired for 13 episodes from June to September 2023. Crunchyroll, which streams the series, describes its story:
The best way to fit in at a new school? Start a band! Anon has just transferred to Haneoka Girls’ Academy where girl bands are all the rage. But she started school late, so there aren’t many girls left to recruit. Then she meets her first friend and Haneoka’s misfit, Tomori, who’s hesitant to join. Still, Anon is determined to persuade Tomori and experience the true power of friendship and music.
The first of the two-part compilation film, titled Haru no Hidamari, Mayoineko (A Spring Sunny Spot, A Stray Cat) is set to release in Japan in early fall of 2024, then the second part, titled Utau, Bokura ni Nareru Uta (Sing, A Song That We Can Be Ourselves) & FILM LIVE, will follow in late fall of the same year. As its title suggests, the second part will also include live performance footage at a concert.
