Aniplex announced today that a TV anime adaptation of Aya Hirakawa’s romantic comedy manga Mikadono Sanshimai wa Angai, Choroi is in the works. While details on the adaptation are sparse, a teaser visual was released drawn by the manga creator.

Mikadono Sanshimai wa Angai, Choroi is serialized in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine, having done so since December 2021. Volume 10 of the series is set to be released on July 18 in Japan. There is no English release of the manga available as of writing.
The series follows Yuu Ayase who the Mikadono family takes in after the death of his mother, a popular actor. Already struggling with living up to his mother’s legacy, now Ayase is surrounded by three prodigy sisters: actor Kazuki, martial artist Niko and Shogi player Miwa. The three girls start to develop feelings for Ayase and hijinks ensues.
