A stage play adaptation of Akira Amano’s (Reborn!) mystery manga Ron Kamonohashi’s Forbidden Deductions is set to perform in Tokyo and Osaka in November 2024. Keita Kawajiri, known for his works on stage play adaptations of Mob Psycho and Cells at Work!, is attached to direct on a script by himself. The play’s official website has released a teaser visual featuring the two main cast members — Yuta Kishimoto (Jun Sazanami in Ensemble Stars stage plays) as the title character, Ron Kamonohashi, and Yutaka Nozaki as Ron’s partner, Totomaru Isshiki.
And DMM STAGE’s official YouTube channel is now streaming short promo videos introducing their visuals in character costume and messages.

The stage play Ron Kamonohashi: Deranged Detective is set to preform at Nihon Seinenkan Hall in Tokyo from November 1 to 4, 2024, then at Sankei Hall Breeze in Osaka on November 9 and 10. Children from six years old and up (elementary school students) to 18 years old and under are invited to the show free of charge through the “Subsidy for Promotion of Culture and the Arts” by the Agency for Cultural Affairs.
The manga has been running in Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ since October 2020, releasing 14 tankobon volumes to date. The first season of its TV anime adaptation by Diomedéa aired from October to December 2023, and a second season has already been set to premiere in October 2024.Crunchyroll, which has streamed the first season for members in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East and CIS, describes the series:
