It’s Tanabata time, and Golden Kamuy is getting in on the festivities! The official website for the historical anime has announced an ongoing collaborations with summer festivals across Japan, starting with the Tanabata celebrations in Sendai.The Sendai Tanabata Festival is renowned for being the biggest in Japan, ongoing since the time of Date Masamune. The city is decorated with massive, colorful bamboo decorations for the occasion:
A new collaboration visual (seen above) prepares the stars of the series for the festivities. From August 6-8, Brandome Ichibancho Shopping Street in Sendai will display special decorations based on the collab visual:
