Today is the seventh anniversary of Reiji Miyajima’s Rent-a-Girlfriend manga and to celebrate, the series announced that a fourth TV anime is currently in production. A special announcement video was released teasing the Hawaiians trip for Kazuya, Chizuru and the rest of the group as well as a celebratory visual drawn by Miyajima featuring the two leads with Chizuru holding up four fingers.
Rent-a-Girlfriend Season 4 Teaser
The original Rent-a-Girlfriend manga has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine since July 12, 2017, with 36 collected volumes released thus far. The series has spawned three TV anime adaptations, a live-action drama series and a crossover smartphone game. The third anime season, directed by Shinya Une at TMS Entertainment, aired in the Summer 2023 anime season. Crunchyroll streams the entire anime series so far, describing the anime as such:
