Japanese singer Chogakusei’s official YouTube channel has started streaming his latest digital single song, “Hazure” (“Miss”), which is now featured as the opening theme for the summer 2024 TV anime Failure Frame: I Became the Strongest and Annihilated Everything with Low-Level Spells.

Chogakusei, now 22, started his activities by posting performance videos on Nico Nico Douga in December 2012, then made his major debut from Pony Canyon with “Did you see the sunrise?” (Kamen Rider BLACK SUN theme song) in October 2022. Since then he has released 16 singles, and provided theme songs for Too Cute Crisis in 2023 and for Duel Masters Win Duel Wars in 2024. Since his debut, he has always worn a mask and has never shown his true face. In this new music video, his eyes, mouth, and other facial expressions are clearly shown. This is the first time that Chogakusei’s music video has shown him so clearly. He even said on his official X (formerly Twitter), “This is the first live-action video shot in bright light.””Hazure” released digitally on July 5.

The TV anime adaptation of Kaoru Shinozaki’s isekai fantasy light novel series Failure Frame: I Became the Strongest and Annihilated Everything with Low-Level Spells premiered in Japan on July 4, 2024, and its first two episodes are now available on Crunchyroll for members in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS and Indian subcontinent.Crunchyroll describes the series:
