Following the second opening theme “Sign” by Aimer, the two-member girl unit Neriame released a music video for “Ringo to Kimi” (“Apple and You”), the second ending theme for the Spice and Wolf: MERCHANT MEETS THE WISE WOLF TV anime, on their official YouTube channel. “Ringo to KimI” was newly written by Neriame for the anime. Their official website describes the song as “A love song about how you feel when you realize you are in love, sung with Neriame’s unique lyric with cheerful groove!”

Neriame consists of Akane and Akari who work on lyrics, music and arrangement by themselves. In May 2023, they made their major debut from Sony Music with “Unmei Kyodotai!” (“We are on the same boat!”), the first opening theme for the TV anime The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses.”We are very happy to be involved in the music for the anime again this year,” Neriame wrote in the YouTube description. “This song also includes a rap part, a first attempt for Neriame! Following the anime’s ending movie, this music video is also made to look cute, so please watch and listen to it a lot!”The CD single of “Ringo to Kimi” is set to release in Japan on September 4, 2024. Prior to the CD release, the title tune is now available on digital services for streaming and download.

Based on the light novels by Hasekura Isuna and Ju Ayakura, Takeo Takahashi acts as chief director alongside Hijiri Sanpei as director for Spice and Wolf: MERCHANT MEETS THE WISE WOLF at studio Passione. Ami Koshimizu and Jun Fukuyama reprise their roles as Holo and Lawrence, respectively, from the original 2008 anime.The anime is currently airing as a part of Crunchyroll’s spring 2024 lineup, and is available for members in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East and CIS.Crunchyroll describes the series:
