The Solo Leveling manhwa adaptation is about to spin off into a new sequel series. The next chapter of the series from writer Chugong and late artist DUBU of REDICE Studio will be Solo Leveling Ragnarok, which is set to debut via Webtoon on August 1, 2024.Solo Leveling Ragnarok will feature JIN of REDICE Studio as the new artist.
The original Solo Leveling web novels started running via Kakao’s digital comic/fiction platform KakaoPage in 2016, and the manhwa adaptation ran from March 2018 to December 2021. Both are available via Yen Press. The first season of the anime adaptation—which Shunsuke Nakashige directed at A-1 Pictures—is available to stream on Crunchyroll. A second—titled Solo Leveling Season 2 -Arise from the Shadow-—is currently in the works. Crunchyroll describes Solo Leveling like so:
