The official website for Gekijou-ban SutoPuri Hajimari no Monogatari ~ Strawberry School Festival!!!~ (Strawberry Prince The Movie: A Story of The Beginning ~Strawberry School Festival!!!!~), the upcoming anime feature film inspired by Japanese VTuber boy band Strawberry Prince (SutoPuri for short), has posted a 90-second main trailer. The entertainment VTuber idol unit was formed in 2016. They have performed a variety of activities centered on video streaming sites. A cumulative total view number of their YouTube videos have reached 7.97 billion times with over 2.9 million subscribers (as of June 2, 2024).
The site has also posted a main visual for the film with the tagline: “Because the word ‘thank you’ is not enough, we sing ‘thank you’.”

A preview video for the film’s theme song “Chikai no Hanataba wo ~With You~” is now streamed. The CD single including the song, titled “Hajimari no MonogatarI,” will be available on June 5.
The film is set to release in more than 300 theaters throughout Japan on July 19, 2024. From June 7, the second edition of the MoviChike advance tickets featuring the main visual will be on sale at all screening theaters nationwide (excluding some theaters) and Animate stores. A B5-size clear file using the main visual will come as a bonus.
Additionally, a one-volume novelization book of the film story and the first volume of the two-part comicalization book will also be available from STPR Books simultaneously on July 12, one week before the film’ release. Pre-orders will be accepted starting on June 3.
