Japanese singer/dancer Manako has released a music video for her latest song, “Unleashed” on her official YouTube channel. The song is described as “a self-image song” inspired by Naoya Matsumoto’s Kaiju No. 8 manga series and its anime adaptation.

Manako debuted in 2012 at the age of 16 as a member of the third term member of DANCEROID, a popular net dance idol group Nico Nico Douga. After the group disbanded, she became the main vocalist of the dance rock group Q’ulle in 2014. Then in the fall of 2020, she started her acting/talent career in earnest.”Unleashed” is he second self-image song following “precious” in December 2023, which was inspired by Kazue Kato’s dark fantasy manga series Blue Exorcist.”This time, I created a song that respects Kaiju No. 8, of which I have been a fan since the beginning of the serialization,” she said in the YouTube video’s description. “As in the previous project, I created a song with respect to my favorite anime, and I enjoyed myself everyday while creating this song as well!” and “The music video was also made cooler than ever, inspired by the image of Kaiju No. 8, so please enjoy the new visual of Manako!”
