The first trailer for the Teogonia TV anime adaptation, based on the isekai fantasy light novel series written by Tsukasa Tanimai and illustrated by Kouichiro Kawano, was released tonight revealing the ending theme song of the series from AKB48 sister group STU48. Alongside that, the lead staff members were also announced.
Six members of STU48 feature on the ending theme song “Tsuki to Boku to Atarashii Jibun (The Moon, Me, and My New Self),” Ria Arai, Riko Kudo, Himeka Sako, Sara Shimizu, Arisa Mineyoshi and Hibiki Hamada. The song will feature on the group’s album Natsukashii Ashita (Nostalgic Tomorrow)” as a Type B single, which is set to be released on June 12.

Kunihiro Mori directs Teogonia at Asahi Production with series composition written by Tomoyasu Okubo, character designs drawn by Koichiro Kawano and music composed by Kenji Fujisawa. WOWMAX produces the series.

The story of Teogonia is described as such:
It’s a time of warfare where relentless battles continue between human and demi-human tribes like the Ash Monkeys (Macaque) and pig people (Ogres) invading human lands.
Kai, a boy from the village of Rag, spends his days immersed in battle to protect his village.
