The official website for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Tow Ubukata’s fantasy novel Bye Bye, Earth has released a main trailer introducing the opening theme “FACEELESS” sung buy anisong singe ASCA for the first time.
ASCA made her solo singer debut from SACRA MUSIC in 2017, performing theme songs for Sword Art Online: Alicization, The Irregular at Magic High School: Visitor’s Arc, Darwin’s Game, EDENS ZERO, and Butareba: The Story of a Man Turned into a Pig.”Life is a continuous journey to find yourself,” said ASCA. “Along with my song, I hope you will join me to see how the main character, Belle, who is a faceless nobody, finds herself, and what kind of scenery awaits her after she continues to fight against loneliness. The TV anime Bye Bye, Earth is set to premiere in Japan on July 12, 2024, and Crunchyroll will also stream the anime in more than 200 countries and territories.The original Bye Bye, Earth novel, written by Tow Ubukata, was released in December 2000, featuring art by Yoshitaka Amano. The novel then had a four-volume release from 2007 to 2008 featuring art from Hyung-tae Kim. A manga adaptation by Ryu Asahi was serialized in Young King Ours from 2019 to 2022, with four volumes released in Japan to date. The anime is a a co-development project between Crunchyroll, WOWOW and Sony Pictures Entertainment Japan.Crunchyroll describes the series:
