The rambunctious family of sextuplets are back with the series announcing tonight that a fourth season of the Mr. Osomatsu TV anime is in production. Based on the manga of the same name by Fujio Akatsuka, all the voice actors for the Osomatsu brother will be returning for their iconic roles.
To celebrate the announcement, a teaser visual by season three and film’s character designer and chief animation direction Eiji Abiko was released (above) featuring the boy’s sweaters all neatly piled up together.
Other details, such as more returning staff, broadcast and more, are yet to be announced as of writing.
The first three seasons of Mr. Osomatsu, as well as the movie, are available to stream on Crunchyroll, who describes the series as such:
Mr. Osomatsu is based off of the gag manga series Osomatsu-kun by Fujio Akatsuka, and ran from 1962 to 1969. The series features a set of sextuplets, the Matsuno brothers, with Osomatsu being the oldest brother and leader of the group.
