Hazure Skill “Kinomi Master”: Skill no Mi (Tabetara Shinu) wo Mugen ni Taberareru You ni Natta Ken (“Failure Skill ‘Berry Master’: The Story of How I Became Able to Eat an Unlimited Number of Skill Fruit (That Kill You if You Eat Them)”), a fantasy light novel series written by Hanyuu and illustrated by Yasutaka Isegawa, is being adapted into a TV anime.A pair of commemorative illustrations (below) have been published for the series: the first is illustrated by novel illustrator Yasutaka Isegawa, while the second is illustrated by Ea Matsukoto, the artist of the manga adaptation for the series. At the time of this writing, no further details (such as the cast, the staff or the release date) about the anime adaptation have been revealed.

Unfortunately, after he consumes a “Skill Fruit,” he acquires the “Berry Master” skill, which has no combat application and which is only useful for cultivating fruit. Nevertheless, Light wishes to catch up with his childhood friend Lena, who ate the “Sword Saint” fruit, so he dedicates his days to farming and training with a sword. One day, Light accidentally eats another “Skill Fruit”, which is supposed to be fatally poisonous if someone has already consumed a previous “Skill Fruit,” but instead Light gains the “Sword God” skill…
