An official X (formerly Twitter) account opened today for Mushibugyo creator Hiroshi Fukuda’s Rock wa Shukujo no Tashinami de Shite manga series, which uses the English title “Rock is a Lady’s Modesty”, revealed that a TV anime adaptation is in the works for a 2025 release, with a commemorative illustration by Fukuda attached.
Additional details about the project, such as staff and cast, are yet to be confirmed.

Serialized in Young Animal magazine since 2022, the Rock is a Lady’s Modesty manga follows Ririsa Suzunomiya, a young girl who’s forced to give up playing guitar when she’s thrust into a rich lifestyle after her mother remarries a real estate tycoon. However, when she meets a skilled drummer at her new prestigious school, her passion for rock reignites and the pair form a band.
