The second phase of Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture’s four-pronged attack on Japanese theaters is now underway, meaning that a brand-new key visual and trailer for Part 3 was unveiled today by the franchise’s official website and accounts.
Part 1 of the anime films began screening in Japanese theaters on May 10, with Part 2 following on June 7, Part 3 on July 5 and the final part on August 2. A 12-episode cut will begin streaming on Disney+ from June 21.

Character designs were also revealed for Nina Einstein and Minato Sakai, who’ll be voiced by Saeko Chiba and Lynn, respectively, along with a Knightmare design for the Zi-Ortygia.

Set in the world created by Goro Taniguchi and Ichiro Okouchi, Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture is directed by Yoshimitsu Ohashi at studio Sunrise, with scripts by Noboru Kimura and new character designs by CLAMP adapted for animation by Takahiro Kimura and Hidekazu Shimamura. The project was originally revealed in December 2020.
The story follows two mercenary brothers from what was once Hokkaido in Year 7 of the Kowa era: Ash, the elder with high athletic and Knightmare piloting abilities, and Rozé, the younger with a knack for collecting intelligence and leadership, who embark on a quest to recapture Empress Sakuya from the clutches of the Neo Britannian Empire.
