The official website for Eiga: Crayon Shin-chan: Oratachi no Kyoryu Nikki (Crayon Shin-chan The Movie: Our Dinosaurs Diary), the 31st feature film from the Crayon Shin-chan anime franchise, released two main trailers today on June 13.The clips feature the film’s theme song “Omoide wo Kakenukete” (Running through the Memories) performed by three-piece Japanese rock band My Hair is Bad.

My Hair is Bad was originally formed in 2008, making their major debut from EMI RECORDS in 2016. The band has released three major CD singles and five original albums to date. “Omoide wo Kakenukete” is their first anime theme song work.”I am really, really honored to be involved with Crayon Shin-chan, which I have loved since I was little,” said the band’s vocalist/guitarist, Tomomi Shiiki. “If you are alive, you will of course have happy and joyful memories, but you will also have sad and painful memories. Eiga: Crayon Shin-chan: Oratachi no Kyoryu Nikki (Crayon Shin-chan The Movie: Our Dinosaurs Diary) is set to release in Japan on August 9, 2024. Shinobu Sasaki, best known for his directorial works for the Duel Masters series, serves as director on a screenplay by Moral, who has also been working on the Crayon Shin-chan TV anime series since 2020.The film’s story begins at Dino’s Island, a major theme park in Tokyo that is home to dinosaurs revived in the modern age. While Shinnosuke and his friends enjoy their tour at the park, Shiro meets a small dinosaur named Nana on the banks of the Kasukabe. Nana quickly becomes good friends with the Nohara family and, as they spend their summer holiday together, they make many precious memories. However, Nana has a big secret… Meanwhile, dinosaurs escape from Dino’s Island! The Nohara family’s house is trampled by dinosaurs! Both Kasukabe and Tokyo are in a panic!
