Oh, that’s a baseball! Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- is teaming up with the Central League’s Hanshin Tigers for a star-studded collab game next month. New art (seen above) depicts Subaru, Rem, Emilia, Puck, Ram and Beatrice decked out in custom Tigers uniforms for the occasion.The collab game, taking place August 20 at Osaka’s Kyocera Dome, will pit the Tigers against the Tokyo Yakult Swallows. Yusuke Kobayashi (the voice of Subaru) is scheduled to throw out the first pitch, cheered on by Rie Takahashi (the voice of Emilia) and Satomi Arai (the voice of Beatrice).Starting in mid-August, the official Hanshin Tigers web store will carry goods featuring the collab art, including acrylic stands and keyrings:
The show’s summer activities don’t stop there! It’s also been announced that Re:ZERO will have a presence at this summer’s Kanda Myojin Summer Festival. From August 9-11, visitors can see standees of the cast at Kanda Shrine and pick up fans featuring character art.
Based on the light novels by Tappei Nagatsuki, the first two seasons of Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- were directed by Masaharu Watanabe at studio White Fox and starred Yusuke Kobayashi (Senku in Dr. STONE) as Subaru.
