The official website and accounts for the upcoming Narenare -Cheer for You!- anime today revealed a July 7 at 23:45 JST broadcast premiere for Japanese television, along with a brand-new trailer highlighting all kinds of colorful characters, a key visual with a gorgeous view of Gunma Prefecture and additional cast members.

Featuring original character designs by Tomomi Takada, Narenare -Cheer for You!- is directed by Kodai Kakimoto (BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!!!), who also serves as series composer, at studio P.A. Works, with character designs adapted for animation by Kanami Sekiguchi (SHIROBAKO) and music by Naoki Tani (Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out! Season 2).
Crunchyroll will stream the anime as it airs in Japan, describing the story like so:
Misora Kanata is a first-year student on the Takanosaki High School cheerleading team. She won a national championship in middle school, but can’t jump after a mistake in a competition. She befriends Suzuha, Shion, Anna, Onka, and Megumi to form the PoMPoMs. Their new team goes beyond cheerleading to reach the hearts of the people they cheer on. They might just change the world!
