The Dragon of Dojima will make his way out of the video game into live-action in the upcoming Like a Dragon: Yakuza live-action series on October 24, bringing the town of Kamurocho and the rest of the Tojo Clan with him.

The first trailer for the upcoming series was released today, teasing what’s to come as well as announcing that Kiryu’s sworn brother, his kyodai, Akira Nishikiyama will be played by Kento Kaku (Shinji Sakamoto in Wotakoi live-action).

Like a Dragon: Yakuza Live-Action First Trailer

Like a Dragon: Yakuza is set to be streamed worldwide over six episodes on Amazon Prime Video starting October 24 with the first three episodes and the last three episodes streaming a week later. The series will be dubbed/subbed in 30 languages.

Amazon Prime Video describes the series as such:

In 1995 and 2005, spanning across two time-periods, Like a Dragon: Yakuza, an original crime-suspense-action series, follows the life, childhood friends, and repercussions of the decisions of Kazuma Kiryu, a fearsome and peerless Yakuza warrior with a strong sense of justice, duty, and humanity.
