The official website for the BOCCHI THE ROCK! anime series has posted a lyric video for “Tsukinami ni Kagayake” by Kessoku Band, the opening theme song for the first of the two-part compilation films. The lyrics of the rock tune were written by singer-songwriter Ai Higuchi, who also worked on the BOCCHI THE ROCK! TV anime’s opening theme, “Seishun Complex,” while otoha, who provided four songs for the TV anime including the opening theme, served as composer.

Along with the ending theme “Ima, Boku, Underground Kara,” the opening theme “Tsukinami ni Kagayake” is now available on digital services.

Additionally, Kessoku Band’s new mini-album “Re: Kessoku Band” is scheduled to release in Japan on August 14, 2024. The six-song album will include both the opening and ending theme songs.
The TV anime adaptation of Aki Hamaji’s four-panel manga series BOCCHI THE ROCK! aired for 12 episodes from October to December 2022. The first of the TV anime’s two-part recap films, BOCCHI THE ROCK! Re:, opened in Japan on June 7, 2024, with BOCCHI THE ROCK! Re:Re: to follow on August 9, 2024. As reported, Crunchyroll plans to bring the two recap films to theaters in North America.Crunchyroll describes the series as:
