Let’s talk shop. Ahead of a January 2025 premiere, the official website and accounts for the much-anticipated Sakamoto Days comedy anime today revealed six cast additions to accompany Tomokazu Sugita’s performance as Taro Sakamoto, as follows:
Shin Asakura voiced by Nobunaga Shimazaki (Hayato in WIND BREAKER)
Lu Shaotang voiced by Ayane Sakura (Uraraka in My Hero Academia)
Aoi Sakamoto voiced by Nao Toyama (Rin in Laid-Back Camp)
Hana Sakamoto voiced by Hina Kino (Akira in Train to the End of the World)
Heisuke Mashimo voiced by Ryota Suzuki (Toma in WIND BREAKER)
Piisuke voiced by Miyari Nemoto (Sazanka in In the Heart of Kunoichi Tsubaki)
Short character introduction videos were also released.
Based on the manga by Yuto Suzuki, Masaki Watanabe (Bartender) directs Sakamoto Days at studio TMS Entertainment, with series composition by Taku Kishimoto (BLUE LOCK) and character designs by Yo Moriyama (MEGALOBOX director).

Time has passed peacefully for Sakamoto since he left the underworld. He’s running a neighborhood store with his lovely wife and child and has gotten a bit…out of shape. But one day a figure from his past pays him a visit with an offer he can’t refuse: return to the assassin world or die!
