Aki Akimoto’s Kikaijikake no Marie (literally means “Mechanical Marie”) romantic comedy manga series will get its TV anime adaptation. The manga author announced the news in a two-panel manga posted on her official X (formerly Twitter) today on August 5. The official X of Lara, Hakusensha’s shojo manga magazine in which Kikaijikake no Marie was serialized, also reported the news at the same time.
The manga was serialized in Hakusensha’s Lala magazine from its August 2020 issue to August 2023 issue, releasing six tankobon volumes in total.The magazine’s official website describes the series:
