The upcoming childhood sweethearts TV anime Danjo no Yujo wa Seiritsu Suru? (Iya, Shinai!!) revealed today that the lovey-lovey series will premiere in 2025. Alongside the release window, a teaser visual was released featuring the anime version of Himari.

The original Danjo no Yujo wa Seiritsu Suru? (Iya, Shinai!!) light novels are published in Japan by ASCII Media Works under their Dengeki Bunko imprint. The TV anime adaptation features animation production at J.C.STAFF and scheduled for a 2025 premiere.
The story of Danjo no Yujo wa Seiritsu Suru? (Iya, Shinai!!) follows shy plant-loving boy Yuu and cheerful girl Himari as they become lifelong friends in a small town. Himari even promises to marry Yuu if he can’t find a wife by the time he’s 30. Now best friends in their high school’s gardening club, their relationship begins to change when Yuu reconnects with his first crush.
