Voice Actor Maaya Uchida, Yuma Uchida to Release Collab Single in October

Voice actor Maaya Uchida (Catarina Claes in My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!) will release “Carnival / BIG LOVE,” a collaboration CD single with her own younger brother, Yuma Uchida (Megumi Fushuguro in JUJUTSU KAISEN), on October 30, 2024. The single was originally set to release on September 25, but due to production reasons, the release date has been postponed, her official website announced on August 9.

“Carnival” is produced by SHOW and Dirty Orange, who have worked on many of Yuma Uchida’s songs, including his upcoming ninth digital single “Chemi-story” to release on August 23.Meanwhile, “BIG LOVE” is composed by Masayoshi Oishi, who has worked on numerous anime songs (such as Kemono Friends opening theme) and has a close relationship with the Uchida sister and brother, especially for their collaboration.The CD’s first press limited edition comes with a full-color booklet, a bonus Blu-ray that includes the music videos for both songs and behind-the-scenes footage, as well as a special photo card with QR code to view backstage footage of the “YUMA UCHIDA LIVE ‘VS YUMA 001-Maays Uchida.””YUMA UCHIDA LIVE ‘VS YUMA 001-Maaya Uchida” is the first show of Yuma Uchida’s “VS YUMA” joint concert project, which will be held on September 28 and 29 at Pacifico Yokohama National Convention Hall in Kanagawa.
