The official website for the upcoming Trillion Game live-action feature film released a new teaser trailer today announcing the movie will release in Japan on February 14, 2025.
A teaser visual featuring the two protagonists — Haru Tennouji played by Ren Meguro and Manabu “Gaku” Taira played by Hayato Sano — was also released. The two reprise their roles from the 2023 TV drama series. The tagline reads: “Fight Until You Win.”

In addition to Meguro and Sano, three more cast members returning from the TV drama were also announced:
Mio Imada as Kirika Kokuryu (Haru’s eternal rival, a brilliant and talented young lady)
Riko Fukumoto as Rinrin Takahashi (a super serious and reassuring supporter of Haru and Gaku)
Koji Kikkawa as Kazuki Kedouin (a shrewd investor who sees through Haru and Gaku’s abilities and invests in them)

The Trillion Game feature film, where the main cast members of the drama series will reprise their roles, will tell a completely original story. The “Trillion Game Company,” which has become one of the largest corporations in Japan, takes on a new venture: the development of Japan’s first casino resort. Inagaki, the story writer of the original manga, will supervise the film project following the drama.The original Trillion Game manga series written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Ryoichi Ikegami is serialized in Shogakukan’s Big Comic Superior magazine since December 2020, releasing nine tankobon volumes in Japan to date. VIZ Media will start releasing the manga’s English edition in September 2024.The TV anime adaptation is set to premiere in October 2024. Crunchyroll will stream the series for members in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East and CIS.Crunchyroll describes the synopsis:
Old schoolmates Haru and Gaku will do anything to achieve success. And success to them means earning a trillion dollars! But to do so, they’ll need to take full advantage of their own unique skills.
