The official YouTube channel for voice actor Shoya Chiba (Kiyotaka Aayanokoji in Classroom of the Elite, Tetsuro Okino in BULLBUSTER) started streaming a music video for his first CD single song, “Contrail.” Chiba himself wrote the lyrics of the rock tune.The music video symbolically depicts the “contrail,” the title of the song, and Chiba’s performance interspersed with the storyline of “past, present, and future” as expressed in the lyrics.

Chiba started his career as child actor in 2004 and joined the voice actor agency SIGMA SEVEN in 2014 to focus on voice acting activities. While singing many character songs for different anime and game franchises he was a part of, Chiba made his solo artist debut from KING AMUSEMENT CREATIVE under his own name with his first EP “Blessing” in January 2024.The CD single of “Contrail” is set to release on August 28, 2024. Prior to the CD release, the title tune is now available on digital services for streaming and download.
