The official BLUE LOCK TV anime series accounts released a new key visual today for the upcoming second season today, featuring Yoichi Isagi, Rin Itoshi, Sae Itoshi and Oliver Aiku, and announced that the much-anticipated sequel is titled “BLUE LOCK VS. U-20 JAPAN”.

Based on the award-winning manga by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yusuke Nomura, Yuji Haibara acts as Chief Director for BLUE LOCK Season 2, with Shintaro Inokawa also acting as director. Taku Kishimoto will continue to handle the series composition for Season 2, with Kenji Tanabe on Character Design and Jun Murayama also returning for the music. Studio eightbit will continue to handle the animation production.
Tetsuaki Watanabe (Haikyu!! episode director) directed the first BLUE LOCK season with Shunsuke Ishikawa as assistant director (Sword Art Online Alicization episode director) at studio eightbit (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime). Ishikawa served as director for the -EPISODE NAGI- movie.
