The official website for the Kinnikuman Perfect Origin Arc anime announced on August 18 that Starlight Kid, a female professional wrestler who belongs to the women’s professional wrestling organization Stardom, will make a guest voice appearance in September.Starlight Kid debuted with the organization in 2015. She is a small but highly popular masked wrestler who, as her ring name suggests, boasts “starlight” speed and ultra-technical skills.She will play the role of a Chojin (superhuman) nurse, who steps into the ring to rescue an injured Chojin wrestler. “I could never have imagined myself being a voice actor, and you never know what will happen in life!” said Starlight Kid. “Above all, I am extremely happy to have been able to appear in Kinnikuman, a popular and historic anime, even if only for a short time! I’m waiting to hear what the fans think of my voice acting! And for those Kinnikuman fans who have never seen Stardom, I hope you will come to the venue to see us! I’ll be waiting for you! I would like to thank Yudetamago-sensei, the director, the staff, and all the Kinnikuman fans for giving me such a wonderful experience!”

Kinnikuman Perfect Origin Arc, the latest animated adaptation of the long-running Kinnikuman shonen action manga created by Yudetamago, premiered in Japan on the Chubu-Nippon Broadcasting / Tokyo Broadcasting System networks on July 7, 2024, and has streamed on Netflix.
