Much like Rafal announcing that the Earth revolves the sun, the Orb: On the Movements of the Earth TV anime revealed today that the series will be closing each week to the ending theme song “Aporia” by Japanese rock-duo Yorushika. One of the members, N-buna commented that they “really like the manga,” feels there’s a “human passion hidden” in the series which makes it “explosively interesting.”
Studio MADHOUSE is producing the animation for Orb: On the Movements of the Earth for a premiere in October 2024 on NHK. Specific staff members are yet to be announced. Uoto’s manga was serialized in Shogakukan’s Weekly Big Comic Spirits from September 2020 to April 2022, for a total of eight collected volumes.
Seven Seas Entertainment publishes an official English version of the manga and describes the story as such:
